海盐人文背景

海盐县，隶属于浙江省嘉兴市，是浙江最早的建制县之一，始建于秦。海盐县地处杭州湾西北，距上海118公里、杭州98公里。下辖4街道、5镇，陆地土地总面积584.96平方公里，江口海湾面积537.90平方公里。2021年，海盐县户籍人口38.30万人。

海盐素以“鱼米之乡、丝绸之府、礼仪之邦、旅游之地”著称。1985年被国务院列入沿海经济开放区，是中国综合实力百强县。

2022年，海盐县地区生产总值639.84亿元。

Haiyan County, under the jurisdiction of Jiaxing City, Zhejiang Province, is one of the earliest established counties in Zhejiang, founded in the Qin Dynasty. Haiyan County is located in the northwest of Hangzhou Bay, 118 kilometers from Shanghai and 98 kilometers from Hangzhou. It has jurisdiction over 4 streets and 5 towns, with a total land area of 584.96 square kilometers and a Jiangkou Bay area of 537.90 square kilometers. In 2021, Haiyan County will have a registered residence population of 383000.

Haiyan is known as a "land of fish and rice, silk mansion, state of etiquette, and tourist destination". In 1985, it was listed as a coastal economic open zone by the State Council and is one of the top 100 counties in China's comprehensive strength.

In 2022, the gross domestic product of Haiyan County was 63.984 billion yuan.
