母亲节（Mother's Day）是一个为感谢母亲而庆祝的节日，时间为每年5月的第二个星期日。母亲们在这一天通常会收到礼物，康乃馨常被视为作最适于献给母亲的鲜花之一，而中国的母亲花是萱草花（忘忧草）。

母亲节只是五月中的一天，

而母亲的爱却是时光里的岁岁年年。
